Known for its windmills and ruined castles, Castilla-La Mancha is not only the third stop on our regional tour it’s also the third largest region of Spain. Join us in May as we celebrate the region in partnership with the Castilla-La Mancha Tourist Board and Grade Linnit’s production of Man of La Mancha. We’ll be showcasing the best of what the region has to offer through our events, competitions and special menus.

The landscape is contrasting; from the peaks of Montes de Toledo to vast expanses of flat plain. Food is rustic, with stews and game being popular and of course Manchego cheese. Our May specials reflect this in Bacalao ajoarriero, salted cod, black garlic and herring roe as well as ensalada de perdiz, partridge in escabeche and pierna de cordero al horno (leg of slow cooked milk fed lamb). Don’t miss our Manchego tasting board featuring five artisan cheeses from 3rd generation producers Gomez Moreno. All pair perfectly with our guest wines from select Castilla-La Mancha wineries. Meet the maker – Gómez Moreno Manchego cheese

Join us in the bar at Ibérica Victoria on Tuesday 14th May for an evening of talking and tasting the cheese and wine of Castilla-La Mancha.

Eva Poudereux Tavira and José Angel Gómez Moreno from artisan cheesemaker Gómez Moreno, join us to talk about the history of their brand, producing within the D.O Queso Manchego and how important cheese making is to the gastronomy of Castilla-La Mancha.
